What to expect
Family planning looks different for every patient, and our approach reflects that. If you’re hoping to conceive, we start with a preconception visit to review your health history, optimize any chronic conditions, update vaccines, and begin prenatal vitamins. If conception hasn’t happened within the expected timeframe, we offer a fertility evaluation, including ovulation tracking, hormone testing, and imaging, and can refer you to a reproductive endocrinologist for advanced treatment when needed.
If you’re not looking to conceive, we offer the full range of contraception options — from daily pills and patches to long-acting options like IUDs and implants, as well as permanent options like tubal ligation. We’ll walk through the pros, cons, and effectiveness of each option so you can choose what actually fits your life, not just what’s most common.
We also support patients through emergency contraception counseling, preconception genetic carrier screening, and conversations about family planning after pregnancy loss or complicated prior pregnancies.
